Grooming History: BC =Beaver Creek, GC = golf course
Warning: Hazards, including rocks, stumps, ice, and grooming equipment may be on the trails at any time. Be alert and ski within your limits.
Tuesday, January 12, 2010: The golf course has been groomed today.
Alert: The BC trails will be "busy" with racers on Friday and Saturday. Also, due to low snow at BC, the pisten bully can’t be used so instead the groomer dudes are back to snow machine grooming. That slows the process considerably, as the snow machines need 4-6 passes – at 3 mph- to groom terrain that the pb can do in one pass. In order to get the course ready for the HS meet Friday and Saturday, both snow machines need to be used. The golf course machine will be moved to BC on Wednesday, returned likely early Sunday. The groomers will try to groom the golf course before moving equipment.

Sunday, January 10, 2010 The golf course was regroomed this AM for skate and classic. BC was shoveled
Saturday Jan. 9: Beaver Creek was regroomed for skate/classic in the evening.
Saturday, January 02, 2010 Classic and skate tracks were refreshed this AM. There is still a thin snowpack, so use caution on all trails, especially the Woods Loop and near the major junctions. We need snow again!
Friday, January 01, 2010 This evening the skate lanes at the Golf course were freshened. Classic tracks remain good.

Thursday, December 31, 2009 Full moon grooming done at Beaver Creek. All trails done for classic and skate. The major jcts and Lower Tree Loop have some dirt and bare spots. The rest of the loops are good to excellent. Start the year off right with some thin aerobics at Beaver Creek.
*********************************
Monday, December 28, 2009: Parts of the lower Beaver Creek trails were regroomed this AM. Conditions are improving with each little snowfall. Temps are warmer up there than in Lander during these temperature inversions.
*********************************
Saturday, December 26, 2009: Fresh snow! BC and GC both got groomed this AM. Conditions should be the best of the season so far. Skate or classic.
***************************
Thursday, December 24, 2009: GC groomed for classic and skate this AM.
Wednesday, December 23, 2009: BC was groomed tonight. There was 6-8" of new snow, and most trails are excellent. Snow was still falling (upslope) when the PB was parked, but classic skiing should be good with snow temps 14-20F on Thurs. The major junctions, Water Trough Hill, Upper Omera, and Lower Tree Loop still need more cover. Next scheduled grooming at BC is "0-dark-thirty" Saturday morning
*******************************
Sunday, December 20, 2009: Groomed the skate lane on GC this morning.
Touch-up grooming was also done at BC today. 95% of the skiing there is very good, just beware of the "brown mascara" in spots.
WE NEED SNOW!!!

Thursday, December 17, 2009: Yesterday the golf course and Beaver Creek were regroomed. The golf course snow has gotten too thin to sustain a classic track, but skating remains very good. Beaver Creek grooming has now extended to the BLM loop, and classic tracks as well as skate lanes are holding up well. Be cautious with any fast/aggressive skiing, since there is still intermittent dirt. BC had 1" of new snow.*************************************
Sunday, December 13, 2009: 3-6" of new windblown snow was groomed for classic and skate at Beaver Creek today. Use caution on the Old Lander Highway and the BLM loop, they still have many raw spots and would be best for casual touring. The other loops are very good. You still need to ski in control on all downhills since the snowpack is very thin.*******************************
Friday night, December 11, 2009: Grooming update golf course: The classic track was reset.
The skate lane is partially groomed. But had to stop due to equip issues.
*******************************
Wednesday, December 09, 2009: 6-8" of new snow at Beaver Creek was groomed today with the Pisten Bully. All except the BLM loop was groomed for skate and classic. Conditions are excellent in most areas, but you will need to be alert for occasional dirt and rocks.
*******************************
Tuesday, December 08, 2009: The golf course up by the club house was regroomed this AM for classic and skate.
***********************************
Sunday, December 06, 2009: Groomed Beaver Creek yesterday, there was new snow and more falling, but aggressive/dynamic skiing is not recommended on trails other than Eternity Hill-Bear Claw and the Limestone-Stadium areas. The snow pack is still very thin, so caution is advised.
We got the Golf Course groomed late this afternoon!
There is a wide skating lane and a classic track. Obviously the snow is thin, but it at least looked like it packed out fairly well. The classic track is quite thin too. So use old skis if you have 'em and watch out for the cement golf cart paths. Hopefully it'll set up overnight and if another inch or two fall overnight it might actually be decent skiing.
PLEASE, pretty please with sugar on top: NO DOGS On the trails at the golf course or at Beaver Creek. Not everyone knows this, so if you see someone with dogs on the trails, gently inform them that dogs- regardless of how friendly or well behaved they are- shouldn’t be on the trails.

Wednesday, December 02, 2009: Groomed Beaver Creek today. There was 2-6" of new cold snow. Very good conditions from the highway and around the Limestones for skating or classic. Very good also across Bear Claw and up/down on Eternity. Also groomed around the Pipeline loop, but it is only good for casual touring, aggressive/dynamic skiing is not recommended. The snow pack is still very thin, so caution is advised.
*********************
Sunday, November 22, 2009: Trails were touched up today, and it was lightly snowing at 3PM. Conditions are good from the kiosk through the Limestone trails, and is good from Bear Claw to 5 Corners and on up Eternity Hill. Elsewhere it is not good, and many trails are still unpacked. There is not sufficient snowpack yet for classic tracks
*************************
Wednesday, November 11, 2009: The first grooming of the season was today. There is a good 1 km loop from the kiosk up around Limestone. Bare patches elsewhere will require you to do some walking to access more ski-able trails, but Eternity Hill has good snow for those of you looking for a work-out. More snow is needed to give you uninterrupted skiing.
******************
Sunday, October 11, 2009: There is about 12" of light powder on the Beaver Creek trails. Excellent for setting your own classic tracks.
***************
Sunday, October 04, 2009: The golf course got 8" of snow today, and was manually groomed for classic skiing with a single out-and-back track on the 1st fairway. Not much, but it is October.
