LNSA encourages and supports Nordic skiing in the Lander area through ski education, trail development and maintenance.

Our primary venue is Beaver Creek, but if conditions allow, we will also groom some tracks at the Lander Golf course.

Beaver creek trails are about 22 miles from Lander, up the South Pass Hwy 28. The parking area is on the right (West) side of the highway. The trails are at an elevation of 8000'.
Those trails are on Forest Service and BLM lands, where we operate under a cooperative agreement.
There are maps at the Beaver creek trailhead kiosk: unless Norm took them.....

Dec. 2007 Found sunglasses in Beaver Creek parking lot. non-Rx
Cell Phone 1/11/08: My daughter thinks she lost her cell phone at BC yesterday evening when she went into the soft stuff at the bottom of water trough - actually at power line as she was turning to pipeline. I looked today for it, but didn't find it. Could you put the word out to the membership that if anyone finds a cell phone - its a dark blue flip phone, but I don't know the brand - to give us a call? 332-7198 or 335-2256. Drew Leemon

Notes from drew on Golf Course distances, 1/29/08:
The club house loop from where you put your skis on (in front of the club house/parking lot) following the new layout and including the little inner circle on the far side is 1.9 miles or 3 km.The service loop - the little loop that goes around to where we park the grooming equip is 0.2 miles or 0.3 km The back nine from the top of the hill (the gate) and back up is 1.7 miles or 2.7 km.
So 6 km total!
