Shift
Shift from Touring to Diagonal Stride (and glide!): Are you ready to shift from touring to diagonal stride classic skiing, increasing your glide and ease of skiing? We’ll cover diagonal stride, and kick double pole, so that you can ski more efficiently, glide more, travel faster and have more fun on the trails. Some classic skiing experience with a modest to moderate level of fitness is recommended. Non-textured skis are highly recommended, and poles length approximately to collar bone.
Skate Skiing Basics
This class is an intro to "freestyle" or skate skiing. We'll focuses on learning the V1 technique with emphasis on developing balance and weight transfer to glide better on flat terrain, present basic uphill techniques and have better control on downhill terrain. Some classic skiing experience recommended, but not required. Skate or combi skis and appropriate pole length (between mouth and nose) required.
