Sugar Cookie Showdown
Lander’s smallest Nordic race!
Join us for the 2nd annual Sugar Cookie Showdown where we cheer on the tiniest members of our community while they practice their Nordic ski skills! Categories include Preschool through 5th grade.
Little Loop (approximately .5km)- Recommended for preschool + kindergartners
Medium Loop (approximately 1.5 km)- Recommended for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Graders
Big Loop (approximately 3 km)- Recommended for 4th and 5th Graders
A registration fee of $10 helps us cover insurance and race snacks.
CMBC Biathlon Races
Casper Mountain Biathlon Club is hosting the CMBC Biathlon races from January 21-23, 2022 at the Casper Mountain Outdoor Center. The general schedule is Friday being a training day with range and trail fees covered by race fees, Saturday is the Sprint race, and Sunday is the Pursuit race. A detailed schedule for each day can be found below. An additional training day on Thursday is available for additional trail and range fees. A special rate for Lodging and Meals is also available at the Clarion Hotel for CMBC Biathlon race participants.
12.5 km, 10 km, 7.5 km, 6 km, 5 km, 4.5 km, 3.6 km, 2.5 km, 1.5 km
The general race format is a traditional Sprint race on Saturday and a Pursuit race on Sunday. A traditional sprint consists of two shooting bouts, a standard sized penalty loop, and no spares. Ski loop distance is dependent on your competition class
